Welcome to ClimbTime, a mobile application operated by ClimbTime LLC ("we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or using ClimbTime (the "App"), you agree to comply with these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use ClimbTime. By using the App, you confirm that you are of legal age and agree to these Terms.

3. User Accounts & Registration
You must create an account using an email address or third-party authentication (Google, Facebook, or Auth0).
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts if we detect any violation of these Terms.
4. Acceptable Use
By using ClimbTime, you agree not to:

Misuse the App or attempt to interfere with its functionality.
Upload harmful, offensive, or illegal content.
Attempt to access accounts or data belonging to other users.
Use ClimbTime for unauthorized commercial purposes.
5. Privacy & Data Protection
Your use of ClimbTime is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, store, and protect your data. By using the App, you consent to our data practices as outlined in the Privacy Policy.

6. Intellectual Property
All content, trademarks, and features of ClimbTime are the property of ClimbTime LLC. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer any part of the App without our permission.

7. Termination of Service
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time if you violate these Terms, misuse the App, or engage in illegal activity.

8. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability
ClimbTime is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.
We are not responsible for any injuries, damages, or disputes arising from use of the App or interactions with other users.
We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service.
9. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of ClimbTime after updates means you accept the revised Terms.

10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Pennsylvania, USA, without regard to conflict of law principles.

11. Gear Shop Limits

To ensure fairness, prevent abuse, and maintain the integrity of the ClimbTime Points System and Gear Shop, ClimbTime maintains a strict zero-tolerance policy for fraud, manipulation, or misuse of the platform.

ClimbTime reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to review, cancel, modify, or revoke any points, rewards, or Gear Shop orders if activity is determined to violate these Terms, the intended use of the platform, or if suspicious or fraudulent behavior is detected. This includes, but is not limited to, artificially generating activity, submitting falsified content, or attempting to exploit the rewards system.

To maintain a balanced rewards environment, certain point-earning activities are subject to lifetime maximum limits per user account.

Current activity limits include:

  • Logged Climbs: Maximum of 1,000 climbs eligible for points

  • Beta Videos Shared: Maximum of 100 videos eligible for points

  • Tagged ClimbTime Instagram Posts: Maximum of 10 eligible posts

  • Adding @climbtime to Instagram Bio: Maximum of 1 reward per user

  • ClimbTime Gym Posters: Maximum of 2 poster submissions eligible for points

ClimbTime reserves the right to adjust point limits, eligibility requirements, or reward structures at any time in order to maintain a fair and sustainable rewards program.

Any attempt to circumvent these limits, submit duplicate or misleading content, or otherwise manipulate the system may result in point removal, reward cancellation, account suspension, or permanent termination of access to the ClimbTime platform.
